Sycamore Process Engineering
THE CHALLENGE
Sycamore needed to address the challenge of efficiently infilling the area above a newly installed mezzanine floor within their new building as they moved in. A key requirement was to create a clear separation between the workshop area and the production area, using a solution that was both practical and cost effective.
One of their main considerations was avoiding the need for additional guarding on top of the mezzanine floor, which would have added complexity and cost. Instead, they required a system that could provide the necessary separation while also serving as an integrated safety solution.
In addition, it was important that the solution could be easily branded, allowing the space to maintain a professional identity in line with their operations.
THE SOLUTION
Our Durascreen® fabric was recommended in our PX1000 material in grey.
Features included to meet specific need:
- A logo print that is incorporated for clear branding and a professional finish within the internal space.
- Vision panels included to provide visibility between storage and production areas while maintaining effective separation.
- Foam infills installed to close off gaps and ensure a consistent, sealed infill solution above the mezzanine floor.
- V-join system incorporated to create a continuous, aligned screen with improved privacy and a clean, uninterrupted finish.
