THE CHALLENGE

Eurostar Commodities required a solution to effectively separate a milling area that generated significant dust, while maintaining safe and compliant operations within the facility. In addition, the partitioning system needed to be fire resistant in order to meet insurance requirements, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance without disrupting day-to-day activities.

THE SOLUTION

Our Durascreen^® fabric was specified in our CFG 402 material, a fireproof fabric in Grey, to meet insurance and safety requirements while delivering a durable and efficient solution for dust control.

Features included to meet specific need:

• Prefabricated panels connected using a dust-tight Vee join system to create a continuous, sealed partition.
• Panels tensioned using high-tensile steel cables fixed to floor eyebolts, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
• Complete with all necessary supporting steelwork, including top supports, steel corner posts, and steel doorframes.
• Includes a steel frame with F-supports for a fast-acting door opening.
• Fast-acting door to enable quick access and maintain workflow.
• Pedestrian door for safe and convenient personnel access.
