As Hexcel grew, they needed to separate warehouse and manufacturing areas quickly and efficiently. A custom partition created a dedicated production zone while keeping storage fully operational – boosting workflow, environmental control, and space use without costly construction.

THE SOLUTION

Our Durascreen Flexible Partition^® provided an ideal solution for creating a versatile warehouse enclosure. The prefabricated panels connect using our unique dust-tight Vee join system and are held under mild tension by high-tensile steel cables, giving a neat and taut finish. The system allows quick reconfiguration of the space, adapting efficiently to changing operational needs without unnecessary downtime or disruption.

We have recommended our CFG 402 material for the Durascreen panels. This fabric offers fireproof properties. It is available in White and Grey, making it a sustainable and safe choice for industrial environments.

The enclosure also incorporates Durasteel Single-Skin Steel Partition to form a robust, two-sided structure. Steel corner posts, steel doorframes, and supporting steelwork provide stability, while access points include steel mullion frames and a double-skin 60-minute fire-rated pedestrian door. The system is fully customized to site dimensions following our final sales survey, ensuring both functionality and long-term operational flexibility.
