THE CHALLENGE

To accommodate company growth and expanding manufacturing needs, IMK Automotive needed to divide their existing storage space using our walling system. This separation created a dedicated, climate-controlled manufacturing area, improving working conditions for staff. The walling allowed them to heat the manufacturing space while maintaining a cooler temperature in the remaining storage area. They also required a speed door for forklift access and a pedestrian door for personnel.

THE SOLUTION

Durascreen was recommended in our PX1000 fabric to separate and to contain temperatures within those spaces.

Features included to meet specific need:

PX1000 was in blue in its lower section and in white in its upper section, to match with their branding colours.
Dust tight V-overlap joining system to contain dust and retain heat.
Foam in-fills across head of the screen to ensure a dust-tight seal.
Pedestrian doors for easy movement of pedestrians through walling.
Speed doors for regular use of forklifts through walling.
Restraint straps were also used to manage the airflow within the factory.
