THE CHALLENGE

Marshalls required a dust containment solution to isolate the batching process from nearby production areas. While the dust posed no health risk, controlling its spread was essential to improve working conditions for operatives. The solution needed to be effective, site-specific, and implemented without impacting daily production activities.

THE SOLUTION

Durascreen^® was recommended in our PX1000 fabric for the containment of dust.

Features included to meet specific need:

• Dust-tight V-overlap joining system to reduce airborne dust transfer between batching and production zones.
• PVC strip curtains fitted to access points, allowing easy movement for operatives and equipment while maintaining dust containment.
• Bespoke fabric walling system designed to provide effective containment of dust within the batching area.
• Roll-up panel with Velcro edge fastening and webbing fastening straps to allow for occasional removal of larger assets.
• Clear PVC vision panels welded into the Durascreen wall.
