THE CHALLENGE

MiTek required a temporary screening solution to prevent dust and contamination from spreading throughout their new factory while other project works were ongoing.

As the facility was still progressing towards full machine installation, maintaining a clean environment was essential to minimise contamination and avoid unnecessary cleaning later in the project. They also needed the solution to be temporary, allowing it to be removed easily once the surrounding works had been completed.

THE SOLUTION

Our Durascreen^® Flexible Partitioning System was recommended to provide temporary separation and help control the transfer of dust and contamination within the factory.

Features included to meet specific needs:

• Temporary Durascreen partition is designed to minimise dust transfer and maintain cleanliness within the new facility.
• Self-weighted installation providing stability without the need for additional Heras feet.
• A V-join system is used to connect the screen sections and maintain effective separation between areas.
• S-hook and eyelet fixing system designed to allow straightforward removal when the temporary partition is no longer required.
• Access door incorporated into the screen to provide entry when required while allowing the area to remain secured during normal operations.
• Installation completed to suit the project’s tight programme without requiring the full design pack process typically used for permanent installations.
