THE CHALLENGE

PZ Cussons needed to maximise the storage capacity of their existing facility by enclosing an outdoor canopy area to create additional space for handling and temporarily storing pallets. One of their key challenges was managing incoming deliveries, where pallets often needed to be temporarily offloaded and set aside before being reloaded onto the trucks. They also required a designated area where incoming goods could be held while awaiting unpacking and transfer into storage. To support these operations, they needed a weather-protected enclosure that would provide additional storage capacity while allowing loading and unloading activities to continue efficiently.

THE SOLUTION

Our Durascreen^® Flexible Partitioning System was recommended using P680 fabric with anti-fungal properties to provide a weather-protected enclosure for additional storage and loading operations.

Features included to meet specific needs:

• P680 fabric with anti-fungal properties to provide a durable and practical enclosure.
• Vision panels positioned at 1.3m high to allow visibility and natural light into the enclosed area.
• Fast-action door to provide efficient access for loading and unloading activities.
• Vertical wind-loading straps concealed within the Durascreen® material, secured to heavy-duty anchors at the base and attached to the existing steel beam at the top of the screen for additional stability.
